  1. Where is Busted located?

Busted has four locations:

  • Our flagship location is our Jefferson-Chalmers store, on the corner of Jefferson and Chalmers on the eastside of Detroit. Address is 14401 E. Jefferson, Detroit, MI 48215

  • Our second Detroit location is on the ground floor of Cadillac Place. Address is 3044 W. Grand Blvd, Detroit, MI 48202. Busted is located closer to the Second Street entrance. If you enter the building from Second Street, Busted will be on your right. If you enter from the main entrance off of W. Grand Blvd., head straight toward the security desk, then turn right. Busted will be down the hallway on your left.

  • We have a location in Chicago, in the Hyde Park neighborhood. Address is 1013 ½ E. 53rd St., Chicago, IL 60615.

  • We have a store in Ann Arbor at 3362 Washtenaw Ave., above Mimi's Bridal Boutique

  1.  What sizes does Busted carry?

Busted carries band sizes 28-56 and cup sizes AA-O. For panties, we carry sizes XS-10X. For lingerie, we carry sizes XS-4X.

 

  1. What are Busted’s hours of operation?

Jefferson Chalmers: Monday-Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 1-5 by appointment only

Cadillac Place: Monday-Saturday 11-3 by appointment only

Hyde Park: Tuesday 2-6; Wednesday-Saturday 11-6 by appointment only

 

  1.  Do I need an appointment to come in and shop?

Yes, right now because of the global pandemic, we are open by appointment only. You can call to make an appointment or make your appointment online at bustedbrashop.square.site

 

  1. Can I be fitted for a bra at Busted?

Yes, Busted does professional fittings. Our fitters are professionally trained in New York by renowned fitter Freddy Zappe.

 

  1.  What products does Busted carry?

Busted carries bras, panties, shapewear, longlines, lingerie, bra care detergent, hosiery, swimwear and sleepwear

 

  1. Who can be fitted at Busted?

Anyone who wants to wear bras! Busted is LGBTQ+ friendly.

 

  1.  What types of bras does Busted carry?

Busted carries underwire bras, cut and sew bras, molded cups bras, adhesive/backless bras, bralettes, longline bras, nursing bras, spacer bras, sports bras, strapless bras, and wirefree bras. If you want to learn more about the different types of bras, click on each category under “shop by type” on our website.

 

  1. What types of shapewear does Busted carry?

Busted carries shaper briefs, panties, and shorts. We also carry longline bras. Busted Bra Shop promotes body positivity and comfort. We do not carry corsets or waist cinchers. The shapewear brands that we carry are Hooked Up Shapewear and Elila. We carry some Spanx shapewear as well.

 

  1. What size should I order on the website?

If you have been fitted at Busted before and can’t remember your size, we can help you if you call the store. We can pull your customer care card and tell you what size you are.

If you have never been fitted with us before, we recommend coming in to be sized. If you live far away from our stores or cannot come in for any other reason, we can arrange a virtual fitting. Please call us to arrange.

 

  1.  What is the difference between the different sizing systems?

Each brand uses a different sizing system. Most of the brands that we carry use the UK sizing system. The below chart shows the equivalent sizing of all the different systems:

German Sizing/French Sizing/Ukranian Sizing: Cups can run large and bands can run tight. Pay close attention to the fit notes for individual bras that use these systems.

Polish Sizing uses a different system for band sizing:

 13. What is the return policy? What if I buy something online and it doesn't fit?

Exchange Policy

Due to the intimate nature of our products, and the extreme health issue of the COVID-19 pandemic, all sales are final. Exchanges on bras only can be considered on a case by case basis. To be eligible for an exchange, your item must show no signs of wear or misuse and must contain the original tags. For reasons of hygiene, panties, swimwear, shapewear and hosiery are not eligible for exchange. Once your item is received and inspected, we will notify you that your item has been received. We will also notify you if your item is eligible for exchange. You are responsible for the shipping cost for returned items. Shipping from the original purchase is non-refundable. It is recommended to use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. 

14. How can I keep my bras in good condition?

To keep your bras in good condition:

1) Always hand wash and air dry.

Do not use a washing machine or dryer.

2) Do not hook your bras upside down and flip up--this will make the wire pop out.

3) Try not to wear the same bra every single day.

Give your bra one day to "rest" in between wears.

15. How does shipping work?


We can ship to anywhere in the United States. Currently, we cannot ship internationally.

We ship with USPS. Typically, we process your order within 1-2 business days and then send it in the mail. Orders may take up to 7 business days or longer to arrive, due to circumstances beyond our control. The USPS is experiencing delays in many areas of the country. We will provide USPS tracking numbers. If you are local, we highly recommend choosing "pick up in store" to avoid delivery delays.

Sometimes orders may arrive in two separate packages if you order items that come from multiple locations.
